The LOOONZ apartment block in Lenzburg blends naturally into the urban context with its clear volumetry. Whilst the building appears closed and solid when viewed from the street, it opens up towards the south with generous loggias.
The architectural concept is based on the ‘Z-flat’ typology, which creates a fluid sequence of spaces that can be perceived both as a coherent whole and as individual sequences.
A clearly legible grid and the modular structure characterise the floor plans, lending the architecture order, flexibility and spatial coherence.
